Sweet or Savoury? Two delicious snacks with @SimpleMills
On a heavy workout day I need a nice and easy snack in between meals. Sweet or savoury, it all depends on my mood and appetite, and @simplemills help me with the most delicious pairings!
On the first one I paired my hot chocolate recipe with a delicious Soft Baked Dark Chocolate Almond Bar, naturally sweetened with molasses & organic coconut sugar and made from almond flour. For those savoury kind of days I love to create a high protein dip and pair it with my all time favourite Almond Flour Crackers, made with a wholesome blend of almond flour, sunflower seeds & flax seeds!
Here is the recipe:
250ml any high quality milk of your choice
1 tbs cacao powder
1 tsp natural sweetener of your choice
1 raw egg
1 @simplemills Dark Chocolate Almond soft baked bar on the side
Heat the milk in a pan, add the cacao, the sweetener and mix until steamy. Crack the egg in a bowl, add two tbs of the hot liquid and mix it evenly. Add it to the pan and mix on low heat until it thickens. Serve hot and foamy with a Simple Mills Dark Chocolate Almond Soft Baked Bar on the side
Greek yogurt onion dip
200g organic greek yogurt (or coconut yogurt for a non dairy option)
1 tbs organic cream cheese (or vegan cream cheese)
splash of balsamic vinegar
pinch of salt
pinch of black pepper
Chives and crushed red pepper flakes for topping

Sauté the chopped onion on a drizzle of olive oil, add the balsamic vinegar and let it reduce. Mix the onion with the yogurt, cream cheese, salt and pepper. Serve with Simple Mills Almond Flour Crackers.
